I flew aboard the old New Jersey in Vietnam (helicopter)...they were getting very expensive to operate and questions involving barrel linings and ammo was surfacing...I agree it is a very effective platorm...but a land solution will have to be found, as long as Somali is without a government, and the populace upholds and lauds the thugs running the country, more problems will result. i do not believe anyone thinks this is the end to the horn of Africa piracy, but as a Republican and former military person I am proud of the stand of our Commander-in-Chief and our military in dealing with it...
