But, if ACTC mgmt gives away licenses as they have on other patents, then any billions will go to all the other stem companies, a small fortune to the ACTC folks, and zilch to ACTC shareholders. I've been in this for a long time, and really thought ACTC would one day boom (both financially and scientifically). However, after the recent revelations of poor to bad management, worse to terrible PR folks, patent rights (licenses) being virtually given away, evidently poor relationship with NIH (only $198k funding to ACTC in 2008, and 14,000 competitors seeking upcoming funds from NIH ???), DR Lanza supposed berating by Sen Specter's tirade and accusations, Lanza's just released kook book, on pink sheets but with skull & crossbones (and apparently no plan or effort to get off pink or the s & b - might require some sweat equity) ... lots of worries and nothing seems to be moving at ACTC. For along time thought not a typical pink - but ... . However, still have a glimmer of hope that something changes quick to regain confidence - some major management planning and announcements, continued scientific advances, building rapport with NIH (now), getting finacials in order (if want to be a big boy, then need to act like one - if can't do the small tasks then can't do large tasks). Door is still open to take advantage of good ACTC science done so far, but door also rapidly closing with a big crowd trying to get in.
