I drove one once.. it was a mid 70's T-top... fun to drive but lots of heat could be felt at my feet even with the tops off... apparently the insulation between the cab and the engine compartment wasn't enough.. but still had a great time driving it while I was visiting in So. California way back when..
whalebait -- heck, tanks will hydroplane in "heavy Florida rain", lol -- fwiw, on the factory tires my C5 was pretty good in the rain -- and since I put the big fat-ass Michelins on it ( http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=36709601 ) it's been outstanding
