I've heard the term "parking frame" mentioned also,
not sure just what that might be unless it is the name given to (like you say)Subsea Distribution Units with the deployment frame built in. When the SDU is placed on the bottom, the umbilical is deployed and it's
deployment aspect would be "parked" there.

The only online illustration I could find is in this PDF file.
Now which item is the parking frame?

This one looks like a version of the pizza ovens, problem being, there are more shown that the listed *19 parking frames.

This Chevron Frade project is going in now and will be producing by yr end.




One other thing I have noticed, unlike the SAMs and LARS, I have not seen our name cut into the steel, perhaps we should consider that they will be finished and rebranded by one of the big multi-billion dollar companies.
