OT sparky: I think the cake is already in the oven. Somethimes I feel like I'm watching a terrible train wreck in slow motion. Some pretty smart people are predicting some extremely dire scenarios. Jim Rogers predicts civil unrest in America. The video you attached is even more gloomy. Peter Schiff thinks things are really gonna get terrible. I don't want to overreact, yet I want to be as prepared as I can be. Is being debt free enough? Is owning firearms enough? Is a full pantry enough? Should I be out buying a small farm to grow my own food and raise my own livestock? I'm serious here. Are the extremely gloomy prognosticators the correct ones or are the rest of us falsely optimistic because we've never known strife and hunger and can't fathom it happening here? Time will tell. But if Calente is right....God help us all.
