after contemplating the implications of the Russians selling sub Marines to Taiwan the only thing I could figure out for sure was that it was good for Russia. If Taiwan sees America as losing its influence and no longer a source of protection maybe they are willing to join some kind alliance with the Russians and the Chinese if they get some arms out of the deal.
This Island story makes no sense at all to me. Was not the three mile limit raised to 200 miles many years ago? If so that Island would be in Chinese waters.
