#274664 RE: lee kramer #274654

I thought it was from "Clockwork Orange" but I just googled it and it is from "Stranger in a Strange Land". I read them both about the same time, years ago, no doubt leading to my confusion. I have the same problems with "1984" and "Brave New World" which I read at the same time. I must stop doing that. . .

Do you recognoize "grok?" If I recall, it came from "Stranger in a Strange Land." Means I "understand" you, I hear you.

Uh Lee, I know what it means....... if you care to reread my post, I was commending you for knowing it as well.

My using the Jubal/Valentine 'codewords' should have made that point pretty obvious to 'someone' who just claimed to have grokked brainlessone's post.

But since you didn't pick up on that, I'm not sure if you are grokking it or crocking it.

All in fun, Lee.
