Zeev, don't you think that the situation is different today than it was in the spring of 2000. Today the small retail investor has a lot less sway on market direction. In my opinion, a more sophisticated group of traders seems hold the key to this market, they are what is commonly referred to as the chart chasers. These also include the influencial group of hedge funds. Just a thought, but I believe that we won't have a solid bottom in place until the chart followers throw in the towel. This group's influence on market direction has grown tremendously since 2000. I know that this won't be a popular opinion on this thread but I still thought that this opinion should be aired. I don't write often but I read a lot of threads. This opinion doesn't come solely from reading this thread but also from reading the bear threads where many many bears also started following charts in recent years and have been long the market. Without potential short squeezes it is a lot tougher to manufacture sharp rallies.
