Lemmee put it this way....anyone who is either a swing trader or long term holder (has a "core" of stocks they hold) HAS to mak esome kind of prediction of how the company will do

only a day trader can ignore a future p/e (even if you just think the company will grow faster than the street expects - without assessing a p/e to it - you are making a prediction about the future)
