OXGN – I don't understand what you mean with "The point being that these newfangled MoA acronyms in and of themselves don’t mean squat." Could be because I'm a Swede.

What I meant is that assigning MoA labels such as “HAP” or “VDA” does not obviate the need for a drug to prove itself in the clinic. People can argue forever about how compelling the MoA is, but the proof is in the data.
