As far as level 2 goes, if you don't like it that's your prerogative. But thousands of traders find it to be a very useful tool, including myself.
It's not made up information. It is direct market data and it's in real time. If you don't get it, or don't understand it that's fine. But to suggest that it is some sort of farce is just further evidence of your total lack of experience in the markets.
