This part would fall under the employee benefits programs....and yes from what I've read the organizations pay MMR a fee to offer free PHR's to their members or employee's as a value added service.

the hospital system plans to offer the PHR as a complimentary benefit for its 5,000 employees.

Part 2 from the 8K, membership and employee benefits....

* Affinity Groups and Membership Organizations. Our MyMedicalRecords PHR product can be bundled with other health or travel-related services. For example, a travel accident insurance company can include our MyMedicalRecords PHR product in its suite of emergency medical and repatriation services for travelers going abroad. We believe giving users the ability to access their medical records in an emergency situation overseas may add considerable value to an insurance company's travel insurance policies. Additionally, an affinity group, such as an alumni association, may offer our MyMedicalRecords PHR product as a recruitment or renewal tool. We utilize outside sales representatives who specialize in selling services to these market segments.

* Private Label Branding . Our MyMedicalRecords PHR product is designed to allow site pages to be customized with a corporate, affinity group or membership organization logo and content that is specific to that entity. The technology built into our MyMedicalRecords PHR product also is designed to allow companies, groups or organization to instantly communicate with hundreds or even thousands of employees in the event of an announcement or emergency situation.

Here's a few more clues from that old podcast Lorsch interview from 2007....

http://www.thehealthcareblog.com/the_health_care_blog/2007/03/podcasttechcons_1.html

Matthew: So the main cash flow is either from individual subscribers or the permanent per month fee paid by the group customers?

Bob: The majority of our revenue will come from affiliate members and group membership plans, like unions, employers and associations.

Bob: The company markets its product primarily through groups of employers, associations, and unions, so we have organizations with memberships that eclipse the 10 million mark. Those organizations pay monthly fees, much like a group insurance plan would be paid for by an employer or association. For that fee, the members of that organization are allowed to go to the website, put in a promotion code and open an account.

Matthew: How many accounts do you have currently? How many members using the system?

Bob: Many, many thousands. The company was founded in the first quarter of 2005. We did not release our product until the first quarter of 2006. Since then we've entered into contracts with these "affinity business" organizations with access to over 10 million members and we have many, many thousands of people that are actively using the product. In fact, in a typical organization over the course of the first 30 days, depending on the number of employees that are in the organization, we will see between eight and nine percent of the organization sign up for the account and begin to load information into their account.
