Not to worry the markets worldwide are in a tail spin and maybe our luck will see them turn around just prior to the eve of drilling ! Then we can sit back and be impressed !
As far as gaps are concerned there are tons of them that "never" get filled. They do get filled to the extent that they do because they are a self fullfilling prophecy for the traders. So imo it depends on the volume of traded shares that are controlled by traders relative to "total" volume !!
