MC&E's main buoyancy productions facility has undergone a major upgrade to meet the dramatic increase in demand for buoyancy products. This expansion includes the stats of the art chemical blending and composites processing equipment for the production of high integrity syntactic foams, product finishing and final product qualification and in process testing.

Further expansions are planned for 2009, increasing the company's elastomer processing capabilities and shipping and receiving capabilities. Once the upgrades are completed the company's syntactic foam output capacity will be increased by 400% from 2007 output levels."

Flotation news is very positive given the expansion plans allowing them to expand their business growth rates!

This division is producing more revenue but also promoting Deep Down Inc as a bigger player in their oil & service markets..

Flotation is in small company these days - expanding its facility, hiring more people, and taking on more orders..no recession at these door steps!
