Gleno: yes, we cannot do much about it. But I would say more. The leaders of the Republican Party treated this election in a cavalier and lame fashion. Remember, about two years ago, I wrote that I had dinner with two pillars of the GOP and they told me that it was not so terrible if they lost. “…the Dems will make a mess of it and in four years we shall come back in force… like in Reagan’s time…” Well, the first prediction was a brilliant one (they lost), the second is being fulfilled (the mess is in the making) and the third… let’s hope that the patient can still recover under strong conservative leadership. By the way, now they talk a lot about Lindsey Graham….
