You've been shopping lately? My girlfriend been loading up on all kinds of shit to freeze because "wow, this and that is so cheap on sale." Told her to cut it out....it's "on sale" because prices have fallen off a cliff.
It's called DEFLATION....look around at your local grocery. If it's like mine, they're practically giving away free food.
My guess is that the primary cost of food is its delivery and oil prices are way down.
