I think you will find it has been downhill for a lot longer than that.

Just the facts from 1/21/09 are bad enough. Going back to election day, it appears to me, is just trying to show the worst picture possible. I promise you if the market had gone up from 11/4/08 to 1/21/09, that period would not be included.
Don't you agree?

Another example: CUTTING the deduction for high income people for giving to charity! That is being screamed. Well, if I give $1,000.00, I get back $150.00. If my WB gives $1000.00, he gets back $350.00. That is being changed to $280.00, exactly what it was during Regan's years. That so bad? Actually why don't I get as much as anyone else?

TRANSFER of wealth: Higher taxes on rich, lower on middle class. Well, I didn't hear much from them when it was reversed. There has been a hugh transfer of wealth TO the rich for the last 8 years.
