whew---if Putin did this it would cause all kinds of tremors and crackings.
I will have to look at my "chess board" and contemplate what such a move would have on the globe in general.
For the muslim world it would be both frightening and incendiary.
And it would send China immediately into their deep think chamber as they would be in serious alarm at Russia and U.S. forming an active, for real military alliance,imo.
It would send tremors thru all of europe.
One thing though in regards to this giving Bush a powerful boost in the campaign, there still remains a sizable amount of conservative voters that the mere name Russia be anathema--such a move would be a loose cannon, it could backfire badly.
I personally believe is if U.S. and Russia ever formed a tight military bonding you can kiss freedom forever goodbye---we are heading to a perfect totalitarian world--and all the JQP globally but slaves . The movie Brazil becoming a reality.
I am glad i am 63 rather than 20 years old that i can say quite honestly.
