Seems like theres alot of buzz about Obama's speech this evening, I would like to become optimistic, but I am not sure what he can say to restore confidence in the economy and the stock market.
It will also be interesting to see what happens tomorrow, I stayed in cash this afternoon, gold silver stocks seemed to have peaked short term, and stocks in general are just too hard too hold for any length of time.
Overseas markets will probably give a small clue as to tomorrows direction, but again no matter how good the speech is, unless there is some real substance, and some answers to the problems facing the financial industry, as well as so many industries in general.
It will also be interesting to se the Republican's response, they seem to want to take the opposite side of any plan that comes forward. But the Republicans need to provide solutions as opposed to just a negavtive response, I personally am getting tired of it, its time for politics, and Wall Street to get there act together, and soon. If not America might just enter the lost decade, like Japan did. At my age I cannot afford to wait ten years while these Bozos figure things out.
