I think the MARKET decides where the Dow is to go. Not Obama. And the market ain't happy with him.
Having said that, I think the market is severely undervalued, and the market is acting irrational. It doesn't matter who's fault it is for the market being stupid. It's the market's fault, lol. I just track the Obama breakdown because I think it's funny as hell -- it's a reference/joke to the around 2 years I kept track of the housing finance breakdown and the homebuilder breakdown:
Since the market is forward-looking and supposedly represents the long-term future, yes, I don't think the 25% haircut in the Dow is justified nor do I think 25% of our future has been eliminated from this stimulus package, no matter how stupid it is. Likewise, I think the fears from the right are WAAAAAAAAY overblown. Some of the social programs are stupid and wasteful, but the dollars stay here in America at least.....kind of like "wasting" the money on a war by paying American troops billions. :)
