fl, we should listen to Rick Santelli and rebuke our government for rewarding bad or dumb behavior. There are plenty of laws on the books but SEC does not bother to follow up on gigantic frauds like Madoff nor did Chris think it was important to monitor bank leverage. I say obey and enforce the laws. Reward Risk Taking but let the taker win or fail. Price Discovery can only happen without excessive intervention. As the government tries to prop up overvalued house prices they do no one a favor, especially new buyers. imho hge
