Then why are you so afraid of that? Last I checked, the dollar has been losing value relative to the Euro, so European government can't be all that bad. Or am I off here?

Accountability isn't done on the website, but it will result from information provided by the website. Of course, if Americans want transparency and the website provides it, it will be a positive PR driver for the administration, but to suggest that it was built to generate PR has the cause and effect backwards.
