Well, I'll tell you how I know. I was in a conversation with a person who works at a check cashing place in las Vegas. He said there used to be hundreds of workers who came in every week to cash checks from construction jobs. They didn't have bank accounts, and barely spoke english. Now that activity is much reduced. I am assuming those people did not have bank accts, because they did not have legal status.
