why are you bothering to buy into this? You still don't knwo what kind of financial structure this new enterprise will have, and really don't know what these spinoff shares will someday be worth, if anything. The fact that they are restricted now means they are essentially useless, likely for years. And the enterprise they are a part of will not be profitable for years, so what is the point? How can they have any value, and why would you buy something you cannot trade?

I don't think that's right despite what the PR says (which is typical with spinoffs). The dailylist always I think always lists the info when the real date occurs and UWKI is not mentioned on 2/13:

This is actually in response to Rawnoc.

If Target became a woman, she would marry him, divorce him and leave him with just a few pennies, so he could still invest in her in the near future.

Then she'd recommend other great companies to him, like Circuit City, Motorola, and Forest City Enterprises. Ö¿Ö

According to there PR ""Each uWink stockholder of record as of 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 13, 2009 will receive on the distribution date one share of common stock of the spin-off company for every share of uWink common stock held.."

If thats the case then you have had to had a trade date (purchased the stock) of 2/10. T+3

If they meant something different they should clear it up with a PR correcting themeselves.
