Hawk, I am not an expert in biofuels. As I mentioned, I know a few people who are starting a company using algae as the feed. This company originated in the Portland area but have moved thier operation to the Gulf Coast for many of the reasons you stated. They feel the climate is much better in Louisiana and have been experimenting with different types of algae to determine which will work best. I believe they are at the point they are ready to start a full scale operation. The information on the website shows they have experience with algae for pharmaceutical use. Thanks for you input.
