Jesse,

I am not sure why you think that a fear that the fear the FDA would never approve transgenics or take along time wouldn't be an negative for those considering GTCB. Second, FOBs aren't the issue, but they are gravy. It is the plasma proteins that make GTCB a very credible buyout candidate.

As far as being a good soldier, I am nothing of the kind. I look at the possibilities and make my decisions based on them. I do not following orders and persevere regardless of the difficulty. If you want to use the military analogy, you are a traitor. You have been one of the long time boosters of GTCB and didn't waver. Yet when you decided to sell, the only mention was a casual line buried within the center of long message. It would have passed by unnoticed except for another poster noticing. Now, I don't care if you buy or sell, but as long time booster of GTCB, you should have been more open and obvious in saying you sold.

"is not related to bias or part of a conspiracy, but results from the historical method of how a drug gets through to the market, and is inadvertently aided by the FDA rule which declares a biotherapeutic's method of production, is a integral part of its identity."

Your point is well understood Jesse but, up till recently, the consensus on this board was that FOBs will be the future bonanza for GTCB. If your contention is correct, in that transgenics will not be able to enter the FOB arena without running new trials, then all our previous excitement was not justified...

I hope Dew can chime in on this conversation...

jl... Another thing to consider is the 800 pound gorilla coming which should modify big BPs' resistance to new technology, and government's approach to drug development. That's the babyboomer generation approaching retirement. Even though the country can't afford it, politicians will continue buying votes with health care coverage. Big government will do anything to contain the looming costs, and will compel big pharma to go along or get left behind. FOB legislation is just the beginning. Certainly we'll see stem cell research explode. GTCB's platform will find a home somewhere... hopefully before June.
