Journalism.org, a media watchdog group, kept a tally of major media coverage of presidential candidates in the course of the election.
As any sane Ron Paul fan could discern, Paul was generally given short shrift on day-to-day media coverage of his campaign. (666elitez evilz mediaz circuz cabalz BanditO'z should all be ivestigated for their crimez circuzez? :-(

Send in the Clowns - February 10, 2009 · By Adam ·
My business partner and I were discussing this today … maybe it is time to send in the clowns. I can’t see how they can create anymore of mess than we are in right now.
Can you imagine having the same clowns who got us into this mess try to get us out of it!!! It’s not going to happen.
Trade of the day: Tommy Geithner:

After seeing what is happening regarding this so called stimulus package and explanations and comments made by Barrack Obama and Tim Geithner,I wonder Who’s in Charge. This bunch who now run the White House and are trying to make attempts at organization and establishing cabinet order for leadership, it is becoming more apparent all the time that this is one scary group of people , with little or no experience at running anything, let alone our overall precarious economic condition. They sure have the country in an uproar that isn’t improving. Thank You Rogerwj Reply to this comment

Jefferson and Madison gave us a country based on sound money. Over time we let the bankers steal it. Pharasees 01, Jesus 00. Good luck to us. Reply to this comment

You go Adam! At least your take on clowns gave me quite a laugh! Believe it or not, recently while socializing at my local watering hole, I have made a similar statement. Instead of clowns, I bet that the aggregate of the regulars, which are mostly made up of successful business persons, could easily run this country better than what we have now. I am totally serious…. I will not use any fowl or untasteful language as to describe the way I feel about our countries predicament. (Use your imagination.) All I can say is it is totally “unbelieveable”!!! Can we fire them now???? Thanks for letting me vent… Kindly Patti Schmid Reply to this comment

Did US just vote for the wrong president? We will never know. I suspect the other beaten cantidate would have done the same thing with just a different version of the TARP/Stimulus/rescue/whatever they wanna call it (they did change the plans name again). I’m a believer that they should let the market heal itself and not try to put band-aids on deep wounds. What they are doing will only prolong the world’s suffering. Let the best of them survive and let the weak/faulty firms/companies go down. When this thing turns around, new organizations and firms will arise to challenge the process. Nothing last forever anyway. Just my opinion. Reply to this comment

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

Following up on an ad elsewhere about ClubINO, I surfed here.
Guys, what a concept! CounterTrade the Fed (I know, you said “Politicians,” but, who pulls Obama’s heavy anchor weights?)
But, in this part of you statement - “Can you imagine having the same clowns who got us into this mess try to get us out of it!!! It’s not going to happen.”
- you show the supreme ignorance induced to the American Sheeple People by the Banker-owned Media. Yes, Malcolm, Exactly the Same People who got us into this are right where they’ve always been and You & I have not a shred of influence to change that!
I.e., No Arms to protect ourselves;
No We the People” anymore;
No Control over our kids’ education;
No Control over our Right of Religious Practice, practice, or moral code of Ethic;
No Say in Who Taxes us into oblivion;
No Place to Practice individual trade skills;
No Right to Peer-governed Court procedure; and,
In General, Not a Stinking Thing to Call Ours, any longer.
If I faintly recall from my 50’s social studies classes, we were informed that our personal wealth is an inalienable right, as is our freedom to the pursuit of personal
- Religion (Practice of Biblical, Not Eastern Pagan Rites)
- Wealth Acquisition (Not pursuit by the government for our wealth)
- Right to Life, and protection thereof (Not unborn people murder)
- Right to Education (Not force-feeding of politically-correct Crap)
Al Gore-gutz “I invented the Internet” statement reveals more than he likely intended about his elitist objectives to shoehorn 95% of earth’s population into mass graves. If that was not revealing enough, his group’s books and warped “Truth” media publications went way over the top to detail mass annihilation of people, because we pollute his(their) Earth more than they like us too!
Really, fellow Sheeple, if the Boston Tea Party attitude helped then, are we incapable of the same now? (They didn’t even have the Internet!)
Your close, from above, says something, but will we actually see anything Different? . . . .

Excellent comment. Just remember that Obama Inc has been bought and paid for by BIG Money. Don’t think that that massively expensive primary campaign and thence the presidential campaign was run on mum and dad donations. They never are. Now that the Dems and Obama Inc have taken the money, they now have to do what his moneyed mates want and if you don’t like it tough luck. In the US you get the best politicians that campaign money can buy and that has to be repaid later in “Government” actions favourable to those who contributed the most to the campaigns. That’s what all those Washington lobbyists are there for.
What the world is seeing, not just the US, are “political solutions” to economic problems and leaders (with scant understanding of even basic economics) pretending to the largely unthinking masses that there are really easy painless solutions to complex problems. To hell with the consequences - let us just do what is needed to stay in power and keep our key campaign contributors happy at the same time.
The end result of the clowns running this show will be massive and damaging inflation the likes of which the world has not seen for over 50 years. Once again, the savers will be punished with their wealth destroyed by incredible inflationary actions by politicians and influential businessmen who primarily only have their own interests in mind. No amount of damaging inflation down the track, caused by reckless government debt creation and the endless pinting of dollars, will hurt the politicians’ finances. They will just vote themselves inflation adjusted salary increases as they have always done. Reply to this comment
