There have been banks closing every week , but somehow downey has managed to stay alive. The longer the bank stays in operation the better chance we have of being aqquired. Bank's in california have been especially vulnerable, but with vineyard having a very appealing market share in it's area, It's only a matter of time before a bigger fish comes along or they actually get some help out of the remaining bailout. We should start seeing some evidence of this in the coming weeks as thing's unravel at the whitehouse.
So far we are still in buisness, thats a good sign.(JMHO)
