The actual motivator here is "Missing out on a good deal." It is a classic sales manuever and is truly one of the most powerful motivators of all. People cannot bear to be left behind.
Alas I don't. I'd be interested in knowing who was responsible for the "basher lit". You know, the "basher handbook" and all that. I don't think it was just one person, but I think it could be a single group. And that that would be a group of paid promoters.
But "bashers never bash a bad stock" puzzles me. It's so very obviously untrue.
