Yup, when I spoke to John last week he said he would speak to Doug by the middle of this week to get the January gold results (after all, January only ended last Saturday). He would then release a PR shortly after. Could be as early as end of this week, or as late as next week.
As an historical reminder, the first PR announcing SGCP completed its first gold mining month was last February 12, 2008. One year it's been!
2008 was the first year we mined gold, around 7.5kg in my estimates. Not too much, but we can only expect more this year. If company estimates are true, we should be able to start mining each month going forward what took a whole year last year.
Happy golden 1st anniversary! I must say, I can't think of any cheaper stock in the world of a company that's just starting to stand up on its own! Especially in gold! Sorry for those who have left us for now. Hopefully they'll return when they see better news coming in and can recoupe their losses. I have a feeling golden news is just around the corner. Hoping for at least 3kg for January....fingers crossed.
