Bio and biogenerics

In SF Bay area, have heard this message loud and clear in trade press. Messaging around here is:

1) govt want to take jobs away and give money to BIG biogenerics companies (funny right)
2) Big pharma wants to take jobs from the area and create a stronghold in the area, leading o less innovation and less "bay area" culture..


there is a strong grassroots push against roche, even former chiron people are getting involved. Somehow they are tying big pharma and big biogenerics "takeovers" into 1 bucket.
