Prior to joining CDNX, Hess served as chair of the Alberta Securities Commission and he was a core architect of the new Canadian Securities Regulatory System. Hess will serve as a director with the Toronto Stock Exchange. NOT TSX VENTURE THE TSX itself..

William L. Hess - President and CEO, Canadian Venture Exchange

As president and CEO of the Canadian Venture Exchange, Bill Hess has
been instrumental in working through a change in ownership for
Calgary s junior stock exchange.

With 95% of shareholders recently voting in favour of the TSE' s bid
to buy CDNX, the evolution of capital market investing in western
Canada continues. Less than two years ago, CDNX was established with
Hess at the helm in Calgary with offices in Winnipeg, Vancouver and
Toronto. Prior to joining CDNX, Hess served as chair of the Alberta
Securities Commission and he was a core architect of the new Canadian
Securities Regulatory System. Hess will serve as a director with the
Toronto Stock Exchange.

So ok Gene just happen to forget the part where Hess stayed on after his exchange was bought to be one of the Directors of the TSX. Sorry I just ask a friend in Calargy about Mr Hess he had alot of good info.. I ask him how important was Mr. Hess he said how important is bill gates to Microsoft.. That was his words.. Not mines
