Real, or even delayed-time quotes, are of interest to traders, but not investors (I know, here we go again! But I have stated my view of the distinction already.) If one really cares, open a second browser window to Yahoo or Quicken or some other quote service. But having quotes on board is really catering to the kind of members Matt and Bob are saying they want to morph away from.

I've looked before, but haven't found a source for delayed quotes I can incorporate into the site without having to fetch the data from them (and pay dearly for it) with each message display. Typically this involves putting a frame to their site within the pages here.

What I want is a system that'll let me hit their site with a script once every 5 minutes (or some timeframe), and get every quote I want, and not charge me an arm and a leg for it.

If anyone runs across a potential candidate for such a thing, let me know.
