Righto. In my experience, many companies agree with not announcing. I wasn't clear in what I meant.
Some companies will buy back what they want and then PR that they have done so. I guess that's what I'd rather see. Certainly don't want to see it the other way around...would definitely hurt the company, as you say. ;)
