...I'm sure after this ordeal Obama will stop playing nice; he can't say he didn't offer a bi-partisan hand out to them now.

The Republicans have shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that they aren't willing to be bipartisan. As it was, the Democrats went out of their way to make the spending package acceptable to the Republicans, and they still nixed it.

The democrats caved to the republicans on tax cuts. And the republicans wanted more.

Right now people who are working do not need a tax cut and this country can ill afford to hand them out.

And Obama needs to take away the corporate giveaways and states need to stop the corporate welfare.

They could have saved $275B if they hadn't thrown in the tax cuts. That does not help the unemployed getting them back to work.
