...I have spent 3+ hours on the phone with Dexter Morris, the CEO of Labwire, and the K-9 revenue stream was about the only thing I haven't really covered in depth.

K-9 CONFUSION

Were LBWR shareholders fooled about the canine business?

Let's review some early discussion on the message boards. EXCERPTS will focus on K-9 matters.

HOMELAND SECURITY LBWR----

I focussed on Homeland Security Department of our company as the drug part has been well DD by other posters Creede Bighorns etc!!

[...]

3. Our company within 24 hours of notice can have 10 Canines with handlers anywhere as needed Peru, etc when call comes in. Our dogs are all certified, trained, and go through weekly comprehensive training to keep up all certifications along with proficiency in explosive and drug detection..(DEA/FBI/DHS/FEDERAL)

4. WE have as a company Master mutual aid contingency plans for providing security and services via our top quality K-9 to Shell Oil company etc as was detailed in PR's in Norco and in Port Arthur after Katrina and Rita struck!

5. Our Homeland Security K-9 Division is being upgraded from explosive and drug detection to being certified with bite protection along with the handlers being able to carry CCW's!

(Carry concealed weapons etc)

6. Our canine group has the proven resources as has been demonstrated to handle any job, anytime, anywhere with short notice. Furthermore, this company is poised to excel very well within this division of this company to the bottom line.

[...]

9.Huge money maker in my humble opinion this K9 division. This part of this company is Superb because we are in uncertain times with IRAN etc, war in Iraq, and we know it is a matter of time before some crzy comes over and tries to sabotage our ports/refineries etc. What better PROACTIVE STANCE TO HAVE THAN HAVE OUR K-9'S CHECKING EVERY VEHICLE COMING IN TO OUR STRATEGIC LOCATIONS ETC!

Tim,

thanks for that great post. Your timing could not have been better, nor your target. Ironically enough, I have spent 3+ hours on the phone with Dexter Morris, the CEO of Labwire, and the K-9 revenue stream was about the only thing I haven't really covered in depth. We did talk about the K-9's being another source of revenue, and one that has lost of room for expansion. Here's the link to the K-9 division for those that wish to learn more - http://www.k9bombsearch.com/ .

Welcome to the team!

HOUSTON, Oct. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Labwire Inc. (Pink Sheets:LBWR), a leading Employee Screening Solutions Provider, today announced that the Company has deployed additional canine units for security and bomb detection to their Port Arthur refinery client located in Port Arthur, TX.

[...]

Labwire's wholly owned subsidiary, Workplace Screening Services, provides security services to the chemical facilities and oil and gas refineries in Norco, Louisiana, that consists of canine bomb detection and canine surveillance. The first canine team was successfully deployed on June 1, 2005, through an affiliate partnership with American K-9 Bomb Search Inc., Houston, Texas.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

SEE ABOVE THAT LAST PORTION OF THE PR
which should have quashed the talk of K-9 being a DIVISION of LBWR

Here's another LBWR PR which should have calmed the excitement with respect to major K-9 REVENUE going to LBWR.

July 27, 2005 - Labwire to Provide Canine Bomb Detection for Private Schools

HOUSTON, TX - July 27, 2005 - Labwire Inc. (OTC: LBWR), announces that the Company is currently offering and will be implementing canine bomb and drug detection services at local private schools in the greater Houston area. The canine units will be provided through an affiliate partnership with American K-9 Bomb Search of Houston, Texas.

UNFORTUNATELY many pennystock investors don't read much or carefully and then there is the misleading PR LBWR issued later (and the erroneous financials):

Labwire Files 2006 Annual Report

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 20, 2007 -- Labwire, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: LBWR), a leading provider of employee screening solutions and canine security and surveillance services, is pleased to announce that it has filed its annual report for the year ended December 31, 2006.

For the year ended December 31, 2006, Labwire reported gross revenue of $3,701,742, compared to gross revenue of $2,665,264 for the year ended December 31, 2005, an increase of $1,036,478 or 38.9%. The Company experienced growth across all of its business segments, including: (i) employee screening services, which increased $378,525 for the year ended December 31, 2006 over the same period in 2005; (ii) canine security and surveillance, which generated $626,622 for the year ended December 31, 2006 compared to zero revenue during the same period in 2005; and (iii) management services, which generated $31,331 for the year ended December 31, 2006 compared to zero revenue during the same period in 2005.
---------------------------------------------------------------

In any case, we don't hear from 'LACO Fireman 1014' any more.
