Well, it sounds like you did extremely well with that order! IB calls this an iceberg order, as others had already pointed out before my post (G). The order would show as 100 shares or so but obviously that 100 shares just sits at the ask as the volume takes it out.
Knowledge of this type of order has really opened my eyes to some of the games played with level two, adn I don't even use that as a trading tool anymore. Also, what would appear to be MM games may not be that - it could be some rich A-hole like you (G) using an iceberg order!
Knowledge is power and all that. Definately caused me to spend more time interpreting those theses you post called charts. Thanks for sharing your work, btw.
