You are absolutely right. No arguments. Its not theories you learn in school but how you learn to apply them in real life that counts. Experience, Experience, Experience is the key. I will take a home grown straight out rural america engineer over an MIT book wielding never built anything in there life wanna be any day. Owner is applying all the principals for a startup energy company,right time, right place, right fuel source (NH Specific), infrastructure in place.
