That high beta TMTA still managed to outperform the nasdaq is not nearly as amazing as you whoring for "the very low fee of $18.62 per hundred..."

Dew, if no one else will, perhaps I may try to make a reasoned reply.

Not to say your idea may not have merit, but there are questions over on my side of the pond.

While the idea of an independent BOD would protect the shareholders for a large corporation (since they are unlikely to just "sell it:), would that same advantage always hold true for a small corporation, or would it be sometimes the reverse?

Would an independent BOD have the same entrepreneurial skills and dreams as the founders?

Wouldn't they be more than happy to "just sell" it for a small profit, just like day traders in a stock, and then move on to some other small company?

Would an independent BOD allow outside shareholders to make a move at taking over small corporations, or threaten to do so?

Would a required independent BOD for small corporations result in small companies becoming just "farm teams" for the big boys?

Is advocating a replacement of the BOD merely a clever variation of the usual message board "off with their (management) heads" gambit? (Because in this case the BOD "is" the management?)

Lastly, wouldn't it be a shame if those products that TMTA has properly positioned themselves for are never produced, or delayed, or whatever, and TMTA doesn't get the full credit and reward for all the work and money everyone has extended for their development? And instead, the profit all falls to AMD or INTC?

Sorry if rushed, but I gtg to work.

What's your point. I rode this up to 5.50 and sold it for a whopper of a gain. I think I'll go ahead and do it again only this time I just may wait for 10+ ;)

There are more, hardly mentioned reasons to hang on to a none successful CPU business which carries RELATIVE high fixed costs compared to the overall cost of a low revenue company. It is simply to have a practical testing field for their "paper" IP work, to respond faster to mistakes, to optimize based on real live applications, to show the IP really works to prospective licensing partners, etc..

But Hey, who said the CPU business will fail???
