What you say might be true, but imo, the possibility that DELL is designing a couple dual-processor servers based on AMD's Opteron processors surely cannot be looked upon as a boon by anyone who owns or favors INTC.

Manufacturing prowess and margin advantage not withstansding, I still remember my dear departed pappy telling me "that sometimes the hardest step to take is the step that gets one's foot in the door."

I took that to mean that subsequent steps became somewhat easier.

I guess I had best get back to the gold arena where I belong. <vbg>
