Kinda like in Ontario. Cannot buy beer in grocery stores...only in Government owned BEER STORES. A buddy visited me from Chicago. He said where do you buy beer? I took him to the BEER STORE. He was orgasmic that there was a store devoted solely for beer. Same for wines & spirits altho in some large grocery store chain stores, some of the local wineries have opened up kiosks to sell their wines.
I assume you can consume all you want within the bar or pizzeria? I was in Franklin, PA last fall but never had a chance to find out for myself.
The second type is the "bar" or "pizzeria". They're allowed to sell beer by the sixpack only.
ot: I once frequented a very rural bar which would pour your remaining drink into a red plastic cup when you wanted to leave with your car. The same bartender also wore a six shooter w/ holster on his belt in case the "Indians" stopped in for a drink. Thankfully for everyone, they tore the place down to widen the road.
