#22666 RE: jerrydylan #22659

There already are better days. Today, a USAir plane safely crash landed in the Hudson River, sparing the lives of all on board. Tonight, Bush bid farewell (except for one lucky Dallas suburb). In a few days, a new, optimistic and kind-hearted soul will be taking over the Executive Office, and hopefully orchestrating a movement to mend the wounds of the countless victims of the latest regime and others prior. I wish it would involve punishing the perpetrators, but white collar crime apparently does pay...for freedom.

My instincts told me that Bush was a mistake. My instincts tell me that Obama has peaceful intentions and an intelligent, non-elitist crew behind him. The miraculous landing of that plane in NY may be a synchronistic sign of better days ahead, coinciding with the fall of Bush and the rise of Obama. It could be a classic shift of War and Peace.

On the other hand, my CorDar is not so cheerful. My instincts tell me that management doesn't give a shit about the investor, that they don't know how to beat their own path. They have demonstrated the inability to succeed in chosen indications/routes, and the lack of determination to break the chains of the conventional system which imprisons them. They are practically helpless, harnessing all that beautiful IP, yet failing to impress those in the financial or pharmaceutical world (except for Neuro) during their many times of need and survival. Let's not fool ourselves, their financings have been due to failure, and nothing else. They are not winning the game, they are not beating the system, they are a drone stuck inside of it. Intelligent they me be, but clever, dynamic and well connected they are not. They are just another number in the rat race. I think it has even gotten worse--haven't we gotten two odd fluff piece PR's since Varney took over?

I am venting about the management of Cortex only, and nothing else. I understand the scientists keep churning out new molecules and patents, so I would be remiss to not clarify that point.

I truly hope I am wrong. I want to be wrong. And even if I am right, the science can overcome. No doubt it will surprise the hell out of management---but they will be ready. Options everyone! Happy New Year! Start the Presses.

This investment, from time to time, has a way of turning a sweet beginning into a sour(puss) finale. Time to go to DisneyWorld for a cleansing.

And....Go EAGLES!!!
