My Chevy Truck is 15 years old now

Last summer, after fire season, I built a new 5.7L motor from scratch and put that and a new transmission it the truck out in my garage. New brakes, shocks, springs, and all new front end parts. I figure that in 15 more years, we will still be running gasoline motors and the oil reserves will be as high as they are today.

I really don't care if GM hates me. Jegs and Summitt both love me. (g)

Mitsuibshi Diamante, the only thing that essentially broke down on the car was the air conditioner, I got it refilled twice thanks to a friend in the business, but he is no longer in the business, and everyone else wants to replace the entire unit, its just not worth it for the few weeks I really need it.

I had a Mercedes many, many years ago, it went 220,000 miles before someone hit me, along with that old Jaguar that sits in the garage. I gave up on American cars, every 2-3 years they kept falling apart, thats why I always had three year car loans. After three years they would fall apart. A wise man once taught me the secret to wealth creation, don't get divorced, he was divorced three times, and when you buy a car, buy one you really want to keep. When he passed away, he had four homes, three ex wives, and 15 cars. He loved his cars more, and kept every one of them until he passed away.
