Todd Blackledge mentioned an interesting idea in a broadcast last week. Have 5 major bowls and then pick 2 winners from those bowls to play in the NC game a week later. This way you keep the importance of the bowl games and don't extend the season to any degree. One big problem I see tho would be the logistics involved in playing the big game within a week - there sure would be a lot of scrambling for tics & reservations for the NC game.
LMAO...I love the comparison to youth soccer..LOL I have always had an issue with everyone gets trophies...I think something is gained both in winning and losing..to not distinguish a difference will only hurt them in the long run..:^) Now to have four champions to make a point...I am all for that..LOL
