Americans know what is going on and going wrong in the rest of the world.
It's just that a lot of us could care less.
Some of it has been going on for thousands of years.
But now all of this is in our face thanks to modern transportation and telecommunications. What was once remote and unfamiliar is now with us on a daily basis. The whackos of the third world are on our soil and out to destroy us. They must be stopped before they perform their next big act.
People like Moore carp out of both sides of their mouths. The government should have prevented the Trade Center bombing. The government is wrong to take action against the bases of these terrorist before they do it again.
We did not strike first in this terrorism war. Look at the Trade Towers and do not forget the Pentagon.
Iraq is a mess. Too many warring factions who want power. This is why we left Hussein in place the first time. I don't know if democracy can work in an area full of evolutionary retards. Perhaps this is why someone like Hussein can take power in the first place... they need a leader they fear to behave themselves???
So save energy. Push for alternates to oil. Let them go back to riding their camels.
