What I find interesting (thanks for posting the article & chart link BTW) is that when I look at P/C #'s on the regular non real-time sites such as CBOE, Optionetics, Yahoo!Finance, etc. the Puts are lagging the previous months #'s for QQQ. There are about half (or less) the amount of Puts and slightly more Calls than in the previous months. I am at a loss as to which data to believe, but if the QQQ's data I am seeing has a hint of reality to it then the shorting fuel is drying up. If the greater majority that are in the market is holding with very little selling and/or buying, what is going to send us higher? This may be why we are stuck in this range we have been in for which I still believe will resolve to the downside. I get the feeling that a sell the Fed news is in the cards. I guess we will see soon enough...
