hey Peg..the bailout of the financial firms was to avoid a collapse in the entire financial system. How many people would be out of work if that had happened? 10 million? 20 million? Total Chaos?
Sure the execs. at the automobile companies and in the financial sector deserve a lot of blame, so do most Americans who used their house like an ATM, never saved a dime, and now expect those who didn't squander their salaries to pay for their mistakes. So there aren't any democrat's who protect "white collar" workers? How naive are you?
Democrats do have unconditional support of unions, or should I say, unions have total control of Democrats.
The public sector unions are busy sucking the financial future out of every state, city and municipal taxpayer. Enjoy!
