DG,

Years ago, we all sat here and watched DNAP stock go to eighteen cents in one day as the news came out on the use of our forensics test to help catch the Louisiana serial murderer.

There will be no replay. Yet it is still good press for the company, in many respects.
There was another California case a couple years later that DNAP helped solve, and there was very little reaction both in the media and the stock price.

After being here for eight years, it is obvious that revenues will be the only factor that lifts DNAPrint off the floor. Your commitment to the company is to be commended, along with your patience exhibited in respect to the "naysayer".

You need to try to keep up with the technology.

What may have been cutting edge technology half a decade ago is nothing but old news today. Five years ago soon after the first copy of the Genome was obtained the field was wide open for easy discoveries. That time is past. The now 'ancient' techniques employed by DNAG have been superseded by more recent tools and breakthroughs. Realize that they made their match within 24 hours of catching their criminal. DNAG requires days to perform their antiquated processes.

Five years ago, it was newsworthy to identify the 'race' of a subject, today it is old news, every CSI TV show has been doing it for years. You might just as well try to hype the brand of underwear that the arresting officer was wearing.

In a recent post (80103)'Chiggah' makes an excellent point. Now you need to realize that he and I agree on almost nothing. But he is dead on with his observation. Dead on.
