BTW, Cable guy is coming over today - may not be online for awhile until it is set up. I will be switching providers, will have a new E-mail address (will get that out to those of you who I correspond with).
Our town (Alameda) has its own electric company and has recently branched into cbale TV and Broadband Internet services. At about 2/3 the cost of Comcast.
A choice between cable providers - something I can brag about at cocktail parties when my efforts to discuss mechanical trading models starts producing glazed looks.
ive got 17% of the acct there so a portion of the acct will be happy but i have an equal amount between telecom and bios and they are not happy. at least what i have left of my rut short is green. of the 6 positions i have the red ones are telecom and bios. looks like a positive day, but a far cry from the 1-1.5% it could have been under the long semis short rut hedge i pondered last night. last few weeks it seems every time i make a last half hour decision it is WRONG.
i use a lot of TA, but a portion of what i do is by feel. i dont see the market making mincemeat out of me.
no idea on semi news. all i know is its the third day in a row they traded up 2% in the fund during the day. the first ended barely green and yesterday down 1.14%. they want to run but the market keeps foiling thier advances. will not happen today as they will finish nicely green and possibly up 3% in fund
