Is it the DEQ or the Dept. of Water Resources. I was told by a mining engineer at the DMMR that unless they drilled holes greater than 100 feet they would not need permits from Water Resources. I am waiting for him to clarify a few other issues.
When I talk to them, I'll pass it on; however, TSHL has no plans currently of applying any chemical means and the water is to be used solely for the aid of washing and heavy metal separation from the placer lode.
